Iso E Super, for long-lasting woody note

Iso E Super has a remarkably pleasant smell — dry, woody and cedar-like, with aspects of ambergris, vetiver and patchouli and a slight phenolic nuance. At the same time, it is amazingly transparent and neutral, without the heavy feeling which is typical of natural woody materials.

This molecule mixes with your body chemistry and releases a scent that is undetectable to your own nose but is smelt by others around you. It mimics the release of pheromones and is touted to be irresistible to the opposite sex.

It adds lift, and it soften all notes, and it brings out contrasts and optimizes a fragrance in quite a spectacular way. In a sense it is present by its effect, and less by its scent. It is not by chance that you find iso E Super in so many scents these days.
